The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber make it 17 weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Stay’ Cementing its spot at second on the list of most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, it’s still seven weeks behind the #1, Tones And I’s ‘Dance Monkey’, which spent 24 weeks at #1 between August 2019 and January 2020.
‘We Don't Talk About Bruno’ from Disney’s Encanto moves up one spot to hit the Top 5 for the first time at #5. The soundtrack’s other chart hits, ‘Surface Pressure’ and ‘The Family Madrigal’, sit at #20 and #40 this week, respectively. The soundtrack album has gone down one spot to #3.
ARIA Award-winning producer Flume hits the chart at #16 with ‘Say Nothing’. The collaboration with Sydney singer-songwriter MAY-A is the first track to come from Flume’s third album Palaces, set for release in May. Flume last appeared on the Singles Chart with ‘The Difference’ (#23 Feb. ’21), which featured American singer/songwriter and producer Toro y Moi.
Returning to the Top 50 three weeks ago on the back of TikTok virality, Frank Ocean’s ‘Lost’ takes out a new peak at #22. The track, which appeared on Ocean’s debut album channel ORANGE (#9 Feb. ’13), originally peaked at #46 in February 2013 before hitting #32 on its return to the chart.
There are also new peaks on this week’s chart for Gunna & Future’s ‘Pushin P’ (#19).
Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae takes out her second career entry in the ARIA Top 50 with ‘She’s All I Wanna Be’. It’s the second single to be released from McRae’s forthcoming debut album. She first appeared on the chart with ‘You Broke Me First’ (#7 Nov. 20), which spent 48 weeks in the Top 50.
West African hip hop artist Jnr Choi makes his first Top 50 appearance on the ARIA Singles Chart at #36 with ‘To The Moon’. Choi made a name for himself in London as a model before transitioning into music. The track has risen to prominence in recent times thanks to TikTok.
