Judges Survey
ARIA is committed to protecting your privacy and handling all personal information collected in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Collection Statement explains the personal information ARIA will collect in this ARIA Awards Survey, the purpose of its collection and how it will be handled by ARIA.
Purpose
This ARIA Awards Survey has been created by ARIA to provide ARIA with data related to the diversity of the ARIA Awards voting academy. The survey requests certain personal (including sensitive) information from you so that results of the survey can assist ARIA in ensuring that the ARIA voting academy represents and reflects the diverse and vibrant Australian music community.
If you do not want to share this personal information with ARIA, then you should not submit your response to this survey. Participation in the survey is optional, but we would appreciate your participation.
If you choose to provide ARIA with your personal information via this survey, then ARIA:
- will only use your personal information in aggregated form for the purpose of ARIA’s review of diversity and inclusivity within the composition of the ARIA voting academy and the broader music industry;
- will not publish any of your identifying (personal) information;
- may aggregate non-identifying information including statistics and sentiments from the survey responses for the purposes of reporting, research and analysis; and
- may include anonymised responses, comments or feedback in reports created and published by ARIA or shared with relevant stakeholders and the media. ARIA will only publish aggregated data which means that individual results and responses are not identifiable.
Use and Storage
Raw data and personal information collected via the survey will be accessible by authorised ARIA personnel who will only use this information for the approved purposes set out above and are bound by confidentiality constraints. ARIA uses SurveyMonkey to conduct this survey. Personal information may be stored and processed by SurveyMonkey, in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
ARIA will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Your personal information will be stored on a password protected database and hard copy files which are secured from unauthorised access
ARIA will not provide the personal information collected from you to anyone else outside of ARIA, unless you have given consent for us to do this, or we are authorised or required to do so by law.
