‘Cold Heart (Pnau Remix)’ by Elton John & Dua Lipa hits #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. Debuting at #7 in late-August, the track has spent all of its twelve weeks on the chart in the Top Ten, including five straight weeks at #2. It becomes Elton John’s first #1 single in Australia since ‘Something About the Way You Look Tonight’ / ‘Candle in the Wind 1997’ (#1 Sept. ’97). As well as topping the Albums Chart this week with =, Ed Sheeran has also made significant moves on the Singles Chart. The album’s second single ‘Shivers’ has jumped up three spots to hit a new peak at #2. The English singer-songwriter has also grabbed debuts this week with ‘Overpass Graffiti’ (#8), ‘First Times’ (#31) and ‘Tides’ (#43). Meanwhile, ‘Visiting Hours’, his tribute to the late Michael Gudinski, has re-entered at #29.
American duo The Anxiety move up one spot to hit #10 with ‘Meet Me At Our Spot’. Its move comes eight weeks into its run in ARIA Top 50. The track comes from the self-titled debut album by the pair – Willow Smith and Tyler Cole – which was released in March 2020. In recent times, it’s become a popular song on TikTok, where it’s known as the 'caught a vibe' song.
Swedish producer NEIKED and English singer-songwriter Mae Muller make their Top 50 debuts as they hit #20 with the Polo G-featured collaboration ‘Better Days’. The track has already hit the Top 50 in the US, New Zealand and Ireland.
