American rapper 24kGoldn notches up his eleventh week at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Mood’. This week, the track started to appear on 2020 End Of Year Charts, hitting #20 in the UK and #47 in the US. ARIA’s End Of Year Charts will be released on 15 January 2021.
‘Levitating’, the fourth Top Ten single from Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia (#1 Apr. ’20) claims a new peak as it hits #4. It’s the single’s 13th week in the Top 50. Future Nostalgia has moved back up the Albums Chart four places this week to #8.
Justin Bieber claims his first Top Ten for the new year as ‘Anyone’ debuts at #5. The tracks follows on from a successful 2020 for the Canadian, who scored five Top Ten singles in 2020: ‘Yummy’ (#4 Jan. ’20), ‘Intentions’ (#2 Mar. ’20), ‘Stuck With U’ with Ariana Grande (#3 May ’20), ‘Holy’ (#4 Sept. ’20) and ‘Monster’ with Shawn Mendes (#7 Nov. ’20).
Jumping up three spots to #8, ‘Fly Away’ becomes the third Top Ten single for Tones And I. The ARIA Award winner previously hit the Top Ten with ‘Dance Monkey’ (#1 Oct. ’19) and ‘Never Seen The Rain’ (#7 Dec. ’19).
CJ’s ‘Whoopty’ moves up three spots to hit a new peak at #13.
Nine weeks into its run in the Top 50, Sigala and James Arthur’s ‘Lasting Lover’ jumps up eight spots to #19, scoring a new peak.
Glass Animals’ ‘Heat Waves’ jumps up ten spots for the second straight week, hitting another new peak at #22.
Climbing up seven spots, ‘Paradise’ by Meduza takes out a new peak at #33.
Debuting at #38, American singer/rapper SZA takes out her first chart entry in nearly a year with ‘Good Days’. Expected to appear in the follow-up to SZA’s debut album Ctrl (#40 Jun. ’17), it’s her first chart entry since ‘The Other Side’ (#43 Mar. ’20).
Tiesto debuts at #40 with ‘The Business’. The follow-up to ‘Jackie Chan’ (#13 Jul. ’18) has landed the Dutch DJ/producer a #1 in his homeland and Top Ten entries on a number of other charts in Europe.
American singer Jason Derulo and New Caledonian producer Nuka debut at #50 with ‘Love Not War (The Tampa Beat)’. The single is a re-work of Nuka's ‘4 Brylean (WayzRmx2018)’ from 2018. Derulo is also on the chart this week with ‘Take You Dancing’ (#23) and ‘Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)’ (#31).
