#NewMusicFriday: Joey Bada$$, Jack White, ODESZA and more

English singer-songwriter and producer Jamie T releases fifth studio album The Theory of Whatever, correlating with classic debut Panic Prevention also turning 15. His last album Trick peaked at #35 on the ARIA Albums Chart with early release Kings & Queens peaking at #17.

Long awaited, third studio album, 2000 sees Joey Bada$$ return to the music scene with his first album release in over 5 years. Previous record ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ peaked at #19 on the ARIA Album Charts with 2015 body B4.DA.$$ topping at #17. The album was originally set for release last month for the 10 year anniversary of his breakout debut mixtape 1999.

Entering Heaven Alive is indie/rock legend Jack White’s sixth studio album and second record of the year. Previous album Fear Of The Down debuted at #25 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Entering Heaven Alive presents us with an earnest, unplugged sound from Jack. 

ODESZA release a brand new album The Last Goodbye, the first new music since A Moment Apart which debuted at #13 on the ARIA Albums Chart 5 years ago. The album features contributions from an array of artists including Julianna Barwick, Izzy Bizu, Maro, Bettya LaVette, Charlie Houson, Låpsley and Ólafur Arnalds. 

Alex The Astronaut releases How to Grow a Sunflower Underwater. Previous release The Theory of Absolutely Nothing debuted at #22 on the ARIA Albums Chart week of release and landed her an ARIA Music Award nomination for Breakthrough Artist. 2018 album See You Soon was also nominated for Best Independent Album. 

Indie 4 piece, The Kooks release their sixth studio album, 10 Tracks to Echo in the Dark. The Band spent time in Berlin writing and recording the album, working along-side German songwriter and producer Tobias Kuhn. The album features performance contributions from artists, Milky Chance and NEIKED.
