American rapper Post Malone releases his fourth album, Twelve Carat Toothache. It comes three years on from Hollywood’s Bleeding, which became his second #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. It features current single ‘Cooped Up’ (#26 May ‘22), as well as contributions from Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, Gunna, Fleet Foxes, The Kid Laroi and The Weeknd.
Brisbane singer-songwriter Jaguar Jonze returns with third album, Bunny Mode. Coming as a follow-up to the 2021 EP Antihero, the new release includes the singles ‘Who Died and Made You King?’, ‘Little Fires’ and ‘Trigger Happy’.
Two years on from 2020’s Whole New Mess, American singer-songwriter Angel Olsen releases Big Time. To date, the album has produced the singles ‘All the Good Times’, ‘Big Time’ and ‘Through the Fires’.
ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter Tash Sultana releases the live album MTV Unplugged, Live in Melbourne. Recorded in May 2021, the set features tracks from their releases Notion (#8 Feb. ‘17), Flow State (#2 Sept. ‘18) and Terra Firma (#1 Mar. ‘21).
Following her ARIA Award-winning debut album, Nyaaringu, Miiesha releases the EP Mirror. It comes just over six months on from her previous EP, Smoke and features ‘Still Dream’ and ‘Everything’.
Ghanian-Australian artist BLESSED releases his debut album, Aussie Blackstar. Featuring the singles ‘Down Under’ and ‘No Changes’, the release includes collaborations with Baby Prince, Manu Crooks and Maina Doe.
Marking three decades since he released Soul Deep, Jimmy Barnes releases Soul Deep 30. The reissue includes the original album, plus new recordings featuring Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, Josh Teskey and Ian Moss. Some versions also include a 1991 live show on both CD and DVD. Soul Deep originally spent three weeks at #1 and was accredited 10x Platinum.
