For the second straight week, ‘Drivers License’ by Olivia Rodrigo tops the ARIA Singles Chart. In the last week, it also topped charts across the globe including the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand.
Ariana Grande’s ‘34+35’ jumps up nine spots to claim a new peak at #5. The single, which originally peaked at #9 last October, has received a boost this week following the release of a remix featuring Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion. It’s the second Top 5 single from the album Positions (#2 Nov. ’20) after the title track (#1 Nov. ’20).
English pop group Glass Animals’ ‘Heat Waves’ continues its move up the chart, hitting #11 in its seventh week in the Top 50. This week the group released a new video where they reimagined the single as a sea shanty.
Three weeks into its chart run, Tiësto’s ‘The Business’ jumps up nine spots to claim a new peak at #16. A remixed version featuring American rapper Ty Dolla Sign, entitled ‘The Business Part II’, was released this week.
‘Lasting Lover’ by Sigala and James Arthur moves up two spots to hit a new peak at #17.
Moving up eight spots, Meduza’s ‘Paradise’ scores a new peak at #21.
Debuting at #29, rapper Travis Scott and Spanish DJ/producer HVME team up for ‘Goosebumps (Remix)’. It’s a re-working of Scott’s 2016 track, which subsequently charted at #45 for one week in May 2020.
After debuting at #50 last week, The Weeknd’s ‘Save Your Tears’ climbs 18 places to hit a new peak at #32.
American R&B star Doja Cat takes out her first chart entry for 2021 with ‘Streets’. Coming from her second album Hot Pink (#19 Mar. 20), it follows ‘Boss B**ch’ (#17 May ’20) and ‘Say So’ (#3 Mar. ’20) into the chart.
Saweetie takes out her second Top 50 entry as she debuts at #48 with ‘Best Friend’. Featuring Doja Cat, it comes from the American rapper’s debut album, Pretty Bitch Music, which is set for release sometime in 2021. Saweetie first charted with ‘Tap In’ (#37 Sept. ’20).
