Moves by Topic, Benee, Harry Styles and more!
American rapper DaBaby makes it four weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Rockstar’. The track moved to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US, DaBaby’s first chart-topper in his homeland.
Topic’s ‘Breaking Me’ moves up two spots to #5; the same peak it has reached to date in the UK. It’s also gone Top Ten in a host of European countries including Germany, Austria, Belgium, Hungary and The Netherlands.
After dropping out of the Top Ten last week, Benee’s ‘Supalonely’ moves up five spots this week to hit a new peak at #6. It peaked at #2 in New Zealand back in March.
Continuing its resurgence up the chart, Harry Styles’ ‘Watermelon Sugar’ jumps four spots to #12. The single previously peaked at #12 for one week in December 2019. Styles’ second album Fine Line is at #2 this week.
Chris Brown and Young Thug move up four spots to #16 with ‘Go Crazy’.
In its fourth week in the Top 50, ‘Party Girl’ by StaySolidRocky jumps up eight spots to claim a new peak at #21. The single has become the American rapper’s first charting single around the world after going viral on TikTok.
This week’s Singles Chart also includes new peaks for S1mba’s ‘Rover’ (#25) and Tones And I’s ‘Ur So F**kInG cOoL’ (#44).
Debuts:
#41: Brando ‘Look Into My Eyes’ – American artist Brando make his Top 50 debut with ‘Look Into My Eyes’. The track takes inspirations from the Charles & Eddie hit ‘Would I Lie To You?’ (#3 Dec. ’92). Brando previously charted as the featured artist on Loud Luxury’s ‘Body’ (#7 Oct. ’18).
