This marks Short N’ Sweet’s sixth stint on top since it first hit #1 in early September last year. It spent two weeks at #1 then, four weeks in late September to late October, four weeks in December to January, one week in late February, one week in late March and now this week.
Four-piece Queensland punk rock band Beddy Rays step onto the chart at #15 with their second studio album, Do What You Wanna. They reached #8 in 2022 with their self-titled debut album.
Lady Gaga’s former #1 Mayhem continues its rise back up the chart, rising from #6 to #4.
The release of a signed CD edition to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department sends the album back up the chart from #20 to #12. It spent eight weeks at #1 last year and was the best-selling album of 2024.
On the Singles Chart, Alex Warren’s Ordinary holds at #1 for the fifth straight week. He is the seventh male American singer to top the singles chart since early 2024, following Jack Harlow, Benson Boone, Tommy Richman, Eminem, Shaboozey and Kendrick Lamar.
New York singer-songwriter Sombr scores two top 30 hits, with Undressed rising from #25 to #14 and Back To Friends up from #32 to #24.
