Second week at #1 for George Ezra's Shotgun

Moves for Marshmello & Bastille, Khalid, Dynoro and more!

George Ezra holds #1 for a second week on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Shotgun’.

There’s a new peak for Marshmello and Bastille’s ‘Happier’, moving up two spots to #6 in its sixth week in the Top 50.

After debuting at #15 last week, Khalid’s latest single, ‘Better’, moves up three to a new peak of #12.

Dynoro’s chart debut, ‘In My Mind’, moves up seven spots to hit the Top 20 for the first time at #18.

‘Leave The Light On’ by Tom Walker climbs 14 spots in its second week in the chart to hit #27.

There’s also a new peak this week for Jason Derulo & David Guetta’s ‘Goodbye’; it’s at #33.

Debuts:

#7: Lil Peep & XXXTentacion ‘Falling Down’ – Late rappers Lil Peep and XXXTentacion hit the chart with posthumous single ‘Falling Down’. Before his death in November 2017, Lil Peep recorded his part of the track in a session with iLoveMakonnen, who later put the song online as a tribute. XXXTentacion heard the tribute and added new parts to it. XXXTentacion was killed in June 2018. It’s Lil peep’s first appearance in the ARIA Top 50 and XXXTentacion’s fourth (and third Top Ten).

#11: Eminem ‘Killshot’ – Eminem takes out a twelfth Top 50 entry for 2018 with ‘Killshot’. The track is a diss track released in response to Machine Gun Kelly’s ‘Rap Devil’ (#45 Sept. ’18). The new entry comes three weeks on from Eminem entering the ARIA Top 50 with eleven tracks from #1 album Kamikaze.

#46: Gucci Mane, Bruno Mars, Kodak Black ‘Wake Up In The Sky’ – Gucci Mane, Bruno Mars and Kodak Black join forces on the track ‘Wake Up In The Sky’. The first single released from Gucci Mane’s forthcoming 13th album, Evil Genius, it becomes the American rapper’s debut appearance as a lead artist in the ARIA Top 50. It’s also Kodak Black’s first chart appearance. For Bruno Mars, it’s his 14th entry and the first since ‘Finesse’ (#6 Feb. ’18).

#49: The Chainsmokers Feat. Kelsea Ballerini ‘This Feeling’ – American dance duo The Chainsmokers notch up a fourth Top 50 entry for 2018 with ‘This Feeling’. Featuring vocals by Kelsea Ballerini, the track follows on from ‘Sick Boy’ (#37 Feb. ’18), ‘Everybody Hates Me’ (#50 Mar. ’18) and ‘Somebody’ (#43 Jun. ’18).
