Taylor Swift’s Lover steps back into #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for the first time in more than four years this week, as Aussies Donny Benét, Mildlife and San Cisco make debuts.

Lover ruled the albums chart for one week when first released in 2019. Taylor holds the entire top five this week.

 

Sydney singer Donny Benét debuts at #46 with Infinite Desires, his sixth studio album. His previous album, Mr Experience, peaked at #26 in 2020. 

New at #36 is Chorus by Melbourne psychedelic jazz fusion band Mildlife. It’s their third visit to the ARIA albums chart: Automatic hit #8 in 2020 while Live From South Channel Island peaked at #29 in 2022. Both collected Best Jazz Albums at the ARIA Awards.

WA pop band San Cisco arrive at #47 with their fifth studio album, Under The Light. Their best performer so far, Gracetown, climbed to #2 in 2015 while Between You And Me peaked at #3 in 2020.

 

On the singles chart, American singer Benson Boone scores his first #1, with Beautiful Things rising from #3 last week.

Djo, AKA actor Joe Keery from Stranger Things, steps in the top 10 for the first time as End Of Beginning rises from #14 to #9.

The surprise Australian tour by English producer and singer Fred again.. sends several of his tracks flying back up the chart. Leading the charge is Leavemealone with Baby Keem, with jumps from #56 to a new peak of #13.

Australian producer Cyril’s Stumblin’ In flies from #45 to #19. It’s his first hit and reworks the Suzi Quatro and Chris Norman song of the same name, which was a #2 hit in 1979.
