The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber make it 14 weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart

‘Stay’ by The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a 14th consecutive week. The track now sits outright third in the list of longest runs at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart (July 1983-present) behind Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ (15 weeks) and Tones and I’s ‘Dance Monkey’ (24 weeks).

In its fifth week in the ARIA Top 50, Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shivers’ moves up one spot to hit a new peak at #4. It comes two weeks before the release of the single’s parent album, = on 29 October.

American duo The Anxiety take out a new peak at #13 with ‘Meet Me At Our Spot’. The track, which is also known as the ‘caught a vibe’ song from Tik Tok, was first released by the pair in March 2020.

Nine weeks into its run in the ARIA Top 50, ‘Love Tonight’ by Melbourne electronic duo Shouse has jumped eleven spots to score a new peak at #22. It’s the same peak the single has so far reached in the UK.

This week’s chart also features new peaks for Doja Cat’s ‘Woman’ (#16), Tai Verdes’ ‘A-O-K’ (#26), Oliver Tree’s ‘Life Goes On’ (#34), Joel Corry & Jax Jones’ ‘Out Out’ (#42), Arz’s ‘Alone With You’ (#43) and Walker Hayes’ ‘Fancy Like’ (#45).

Justin Bieber picks up this week’s highest debut at #28 with ‘Ghost’. The track is the tenth to chart from the Canadian star’s album Justice (#1 Mar. ’21) after ‘Holy’ (#4 Sept. ’20), ‘Lonely’ (#11 Nov. ’20), ‘Anyone’ (#5 Jan. ’20), ‘Hold On’ (#6 Mar. ’21) ‘As I Am’ (#23 Mar. ’21), ‘Off My Face’ (#42 Mar. ’21), ‘Unstable’ (#22 Mar. ’21), ‘2 Much’ (#40 Mar. ’21) and ‘Peaches’ (#1 Apr. ’21).

At #49, Blackpink member Lisa makes her solo chart debut with ‘Money’. It’s the first release outside of the K-pop group for the Thai rapper and singer, and is paired with another track ‘Lalisa’.
