ARIA Announces The Artisan, Fine Arts Nominees For 2019

The 2019 ARIA Awards in partnership with YouTube Music will be launched at this year’s ARIA Season Launch, a newly named event for the official announcement of nominations in all categories, and announcement of the first winners of the 2019 ARIA Awards in the categories of Best Classical Album, Best Jazz Album, Best Original Soundtrack or Musical Theatre Cast AlbumBest World Music Album, along with Producer Of The Year, Engineer Of The Year, and Best Cover Art

The ARIA Awards Season Launch will be taking place on Thursday, 10th October hosted at the Art Gallery of NSW.

The Fine Arts, Artisan and categories herald the beginning of the 2019 ARIA Awards celebrations, leading into ARIA Week festivities from Friday 15th November with Australian Music T-shirt Day, culminating in the Awards on Wednesday, 27th November at The Event Centre, The Star Sydney, which will be broadcast on The Nine Network.

Burke Reid and Konstantin Kersting are each nominated for both Producer of the Year and Engineer of the YearSam Teskey was also recognised for the engineering of The Teskey Brothers' own album, up for an Engineer of the Year award.

ARIA is also thrilled to announce that Swarovski Australia will be returning as this year’s ARIA Red Carpet partners. Also returning for 2019 to celebrate the official ceremony are continuing partners the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW, The Nine Network, Telstra, PPCA and The Star.
