Billie Eilish’s Australian shows push Hit Me Hard And Soft back into the #1 spot on the ARIA Albums Chart this week, marking the first time since mid-July. Last year it spent five non-consecutive weeks on top and was the #2 album of 2024.
Fresh off an Oscars performance, Blackpink star Lisa arrives at #5 with her debut solo album, Alter Ego, featuring guest stars Raye, Doja Cat, Future, Rosalia, Tyla and Megan Thee Stallion.
Alter Ego the second solo album from a member of Blackpink to hit the chart in the past four months: Rosé’s debut album, Rosie, peaked at #2 in December and is at #45 this week. Another member of Blackpink, Jennie, dropped her first album, Ruby, today.
Female artists occupy the entire top five of the albums chart, with Billie at #1, Tate McRae at #2, Sabrina Carpenter at #3, SZA at #4 and Lisa at #5.
Architects debut at #8 with The Sky, The Earth & All Between. It’s the British metalcore band’s 11th studio album. Their best performer here is For Those That Wish To Exist, which reached #1 in 2021.
On the Singles Chart it’s 13 non-consecutive weeks on top for Rosé and Bruno Mars with APT. It’s the longest running duet at the top of the chart since 2019, when Old Town Road by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus also sat at #1 for 13 weeks.
The duet with the longest stay at #1 is The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s Stay, which topped the chart for 17 weeks in 2021-22.
