Spending its 15th week in the top spot, ‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones and I equals the record for most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, tying the record set by Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ in 2017. Meanwhile, the singer-songwriter’s single ‘Never Seen The Rain’ climbs two places to return to #10.
After two weeks at #4, ‘Ride It’ by Regard moves to a new peak at #3. The remix of Jay Sean’s 2008 hit is experiencing a second life thanks to a surge in popularity on social platform TikTok.
‘Castles’ by English singer-songwriter Freya Ridings continues its ascent, climbing nine spots to a new peak of #25.
Meduza’s ‘Lose Control’ jumps 14 spots to #28 in its second week. The Italian trio previously hit the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart with ‘Piece Of Your Heart’, which reached #7 in July 2019.
This week’s Singles Chart also features new peaks for SHAED & Zayn’s ‘Trampoline’ (#30), Sam Feldt’s ‘Post Malone’ (#42) and Juice WRLD & YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s (#47).

#8 Dua Lipa ‘Don’t Start Now’ – Fresh from being announced as a performer at the 2019 ARIA Awards, Dua Lipa returns to the ARIA Charts with ‘Don’t Start Now’, the first single from her forthcoming second album. This marks the fourth entry into the Singles Chart Top Ten as a lead artist by the English singer. Her highest peak was with ‘New Rules’ (#2 Sept. ’17)
#46 Major Lazer & Khalid ‘Trigger’ – EDM trio Major Lazer enter the Top 50 Singles Chart for the 10th time with ‘Trigger’. They’re joined on the track by Khalid, who makes an appearance in the Top 50 for the fifth time in 2019.
#48 Drax Project ‘Catching Feelings’ – Drax Project debut in the Top 50 Singles Chart with ‘Catching Feelings’. This is the New Zealand band’s second single to hit the chart, following ‘Woke Up Late’ (#18 Jun. ‘19).
#49 Young Thug Feat. Gunna ‘Hot’ – US rapper Young Thug makes his second appearance in the ARIAs Top 50 Singles Chart with ‘Hot’, his follow-up to ‘The London’ (#13 Jun. ‘19).
